Marketing Discussion:
Functionality still to work out:
- A way to allow users to access relevant posts that have past (so they
can check in once a day/week and still get relevant information).
The idea of sending a daily email with relevant posts was mentioned to tie in a technology people are familiar with.
- A way for users to flag and keep track of posts that are of interest
(ie. I'd like to be involved in the conversation about this event).
Hashtags but transparent.
- How to integrate sponsorship without risking integrity.
- Allow voting up/down voting of responses (not to change order, but to hide posts that have less than a certain rating)
- Each conversation's epicenter and blast radius defined by the initiator. Can they be edited later by initiator?
- RSS feed available for individual conversation, or for search area + filter
- Algorithm to determine conversation's 'heat' (based on post count, post rate, and date of last post) determines the conversation marker's colour and transparency.
